Danielle M. Verderosa has more than 20 years of Human Resources experience in the hospitality industry and is currently the Vice President of Human Resources at Guest Services, Inc.
Verderosa began her career in Human Resources in 1996, when she joined the Career Development staff of Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI. As the Director of Employment, she was the liaison between the graduating students of this globally-recognized leader of Culinary and Hospitality accredited education and hospitality industry corporate recruiters. Verderosa and her staff managed the annual On-Campus Recruiting programs and Career Conferences, and she was chosen by her supervisor and peers to participate in the Theta Class of Johnson & Wales University’s elite Leadership Program.
Verderosa’s passion for the service industry led her to accept subsequent HR management positions of increasing responsibility and scope with Globe Aviation — where she received the company’s Service Excellence in the Face of Adversity award for her critical work with employees at Boston Logan Airport after 9/11 — and Chipotle Mexican Grill.
In 2005, Ms. Verderosa joined Guest Services, Inc.’s team in Fairfax, VA as the Director of Human Resources. She was the sole awardee of Guest Services’ top honor, the President’s Excellence Award, in 2009. Ms. Verderosa has a Bachelor’s of Arts in Communications from American University in Washington, DC and holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) credential as well as the Society for Human Resource Management’s Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) designation.
Originally from Bennington, VT, Ms. Verderosa currently resides in Fairfax, VA.
