National and state parks bring pleasure and relaxation to millions of visitors yearly. The enjoyment of current and future generations depends to a large degree on the services that are provided within the parks to enhance the experience and provide for the comfort and sustenance of park visitors.
“Guest Services was selected as the operations and food service partner for Big Sur Lodge in 2004. I immediately recognized a huge difference between them and the other operators I had dealt with in the past. Everything they said they were going to do, they did, and everyone I dealt with was professional and had the Park’s and visitors’ best interests in mind. The Park Service had specific desires for the renovation and operation of the facility. Guest Services listened and was a true partner every step of the way.”
– Curtis Price, Superintendent/Big Sur State Park
Guest Services has worked with the National Park Service and a variety of state parks since the earliest years of our existence. Through our relationships, we manage food service, lodging, recreation/leisure activities and retail operations that sell site-specific souvenirs and gifts. In this industry segment, we greet millions of visitors at attractive food concessions, in historic lodging properties, at tennis centers, marinas, equestrian stables and boathouses, and in tasteful retail operations. We also are entrusted by the National Park Service with management of the food services at iconic special events, such as presidential Inaugural Balls, July Fourth on the National Mall, and the National Cherry Blossom Festival.
As responsible stewards of the parks under our care, we follow strict sustainable practices in order to further preserve these national treasures for generations of visitors to come.
